Mirrors¶
How-To¶
To enable our repo, add a mirror to your pacman.conf. Here is an example for our main mirror, where $ARCH is i686 or x86_64
[arch-games]
Server = http://repo.archlinux-gaming.org/$ARCH/
Mirrorlist Package and Rankmirrors¶
This is the preferred way to setup [arch-games] which keeps your mirror up-to-date through pacman. If you already have the repo enabled, just install archgames-mirrorlist. Otherwise get the package directly from http://arch.twilightlair.net/games/ and pacman -U it.
[arch-games]
Include = /etc/pacman.d/archgames-mirrorlist
With python installed you can use rankmirrors to rank the mirrors by their connection and speed.
rankmirrors /etc/pacman.d/archgames-mirrorlist > /etc/pacman.d/archgames-rankmirror
You can also rerank them weekly per cronjob.
Mirror Status¶
If any of our mirrors are down, or out of date, tell us in the #archlinux-gaming IRC channel or send an email to arch-games@twilightlair.net and we'll work on updating it.
NOTE: The mailing list is currently inactive, please use IRC
